{"id":70,"date":"2012-03-26T20:22:05","date_gmt":"2012-03-26T20:22:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spindizzy.net\/weaving-blog\/?p=70"},"modified":"2012-03-26T20:22:05","modified_gmt":"2012-03-26T20:22:05","slug":"olympic-cushions-for-woolsack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/spindizzy.net\/weaving-blog\/archives\/70","title":{"rendered":"Olympic Cushions for Woolsack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have finally and belately got to work on my Woolsack Cushions. \u00a0The Woolsack project \u00a0at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/woolsack2012\/\">http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/woolsack2012\/<\/a> aims to: \u00a0&#8230; &#8220;make a cushion from British Wool as a personal gift for each athlete competing in the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Getting the loom empty was the first challenge, knitting a lace shawl for a new baby in the family ate some more time, but finally I&#8217;m properly underway. And whether it looks better from the top or bottom.
